Volunteer Chair — Local

This person recruits volunteers for GGS events. and activities. Is a great opportunity to meet and get to know other GGS members.

Duties include:

Send volunteer needs to the E-News editor for  monthly publication.

Recruit volunteers for three annual events held at the GAI. Deutsche Tage in June; Oktoberfest in September; Christmas in Germany in December.

Recruit volunteers using E-News, email blast, personal emails, and soon on a newly developed website section.

Participate in the six GGS Executive Board Meetings held evenings on the third Monday of odd months. Remote attendance is available.
